Welcome to TabServe

TabServe is a Web based application for MSN Messenger (6.2, 7.0, 7.5) and Windows Live Messenger (8.0, 8.1, 8.5) that primarily allows you to customise your tabs.

To get started with TabServe, just register an account and import the tabs and configuration you normally get with MSN Messenger, then you can start customising everything.

Once you have your TabServe account setup and ready to go, you need to patch Messenger to start using the customisations you have made. In order for TabServe to correctly identify you and send the right configuration data, the e-mail address you use in the patch must be the same as the one you registered here on the TabServe Web site.

TabServe provides a gallery of tabs for you to choose from, and you can also create your own custom tabs, as well as delete them, and move tabs up and down.

TabServe also provides the ability to change certain URLs Messenger uses, for example, the MSN Today window, search engine, games server, and the page used when you click on someone's current playing song. For the search engine, you can choose between the following: MSN, Google, AltaVista, Yahoo!, Ask Jeeves. Take your pick!

When you make a change, you must exit Messenger completely and restart it in order for it to re-download the configuration data.
